I stopped by for Brazilian pastries and realized that there is now a name change. Sunstream Coffee is now Padoca Cafe. I ordered the traditional pao de queijo, which is a giant cheesy bread and a coxinha, which is a teardrop croquette filled with shredded chicken and cheese. Both were delicious. The pao de queijo was crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The coxinha was huge and also filled with a ton of chicken and cheese. Super filling. The cafe is small so there only two tables for sitting. It's definitely more for to go. Service was quick. I would definitely come back again to try more of the pastries and maybe their acai bowl!

I think they didn't rebranding cause the name was different but wow such yummy pastries. I was not familiar with some of these like the coxinha and the powdered milk ball. But both were delicious. I would definitely come again to try more and their acai looked good as well. Service is fast and friendly. It's close by trader joe's and target as well.

Was so excited to stumble into this place while visiting a friend in the neighborhood. You know it's going to be good when you walk in and aunties are speaking Portuguese to each other! Earlier this week I was craving Brazilian pastries but tbh I haven't found a place in the East Bay that I like enough to frequent. So I just kinda forgot about my craving until today and wow! I was so impressed. Everything was fresh and delicious. I tried the coxinha, beef & cheese pastel, guava pão de queijo, and "yucca cake" which is what they call the bolo de aipim com coco. It was so good I didn't want to share with my friend but I did anyway Honestly took me back to being in Brasil. And their coffee was great too! Will definitely be back anytime I'm in the neighborhood.

I love these Brazilian coffee/pastry shops and I think we should have more of them. I haven't been to a ton of different ones but I was more familiar with the menu after going to Cafe de Casa (which has a cuter aesthetic) and I'm pretty into what these places are putting out. We need more reasonably sized warm savory pastries. Down with the tyranny of croissants! Up with the tyranny of empada de frangos! I, for one, welcome our new Brazilian coffee shop overlords.

A coffee shop with unique pastry items both sweet & savory. Parking isn't difficult in the mornings and if you're willing to walk a block or two, anytime is a great time. The staff is friendly and ready to help make recommendations. There are 2 tables inside. My favorite was the coconut & cheese bread.

We swung by this morning and got super lucky! A nice parking spot right in front of the door, and food that seriously blew us away. Coming from LA, Porto's is the name of the game, but this Brazilian storefront was next level homemade and delicious. I seriously wish we had a place like this available back home. The cashier was super sweet and patient with us as we perused all the options; we finally settled on the following: 1) Risolis - Beef & Corn 2) Risolis - Ham & Cheese 3) Pão de Queijo (Cheese Bread) 4) Pamonha Assada 5) Coxinha I've been off chicken for a while (pregnancy life), but everything else was stunning. The beef & corn risolis was a larger next level potato ball--you could taste how fresh the ingredients were and the spices used were perfection. The ham & cheese risolis was next level decadent--as someone lactose intolerant, I'd risk it all for this one (multiple times). The cheese bread was exactly what we thought it would be; it had that perfect spring as it puffed back into shape after the first bite. Dog dad loved the coxinha, and the pamonha assada was the perfect way to round off our gluttony in a parking lot. The inside of the store is cozy and cute--2 tables available for those looking to hunker down. We were on the move today, so we ate everything in a parking lot after getting gas. Definitely a place you should swing by--I know I'll be thinking about their treats even when we get home.

Outstanding small business, deserves our support, been coming here for years. The acais are very good especially a hot SF day like today.

Delicious authentic Brazilian pastries! This seems to be the place where all the local Brazilians come to get coffee and pastries. I tried many of their pastries including their coxinha, rissoles, and empada de frango. Only downside is that they have recently raised their prices. Overall great service and experience.

I had just got back from Brazil and was craving an açaí bowl. Glad when I walked in they were speaking Portuguese. Picked myself up an açaí bowl to go. I was pleasantly surprised that the bowl was large. All the toppings were perfect. Have come back for more bowls!

I come here on my walk to work in the morning and their pastries always fills me up! Friendly workers, greets you whenever you come in and are helpful if you're not sure what to get. I've tried their Coxincha, Esfiha de Frango com Palmito and Coconut Bread, all are great! I usually get the Coxincha more often than the others. Would definitely be back to try the rest of their pastries and drinks, perhaps. Best to come in the mornings or before the afternoon since they do run out by then. So come early!
